An expressionist nude in complimentary colors.
In 1953, he emigrated to the US , where he combined study visits in various states and Mexico. Graeder became an American citizen in 1958, but returned to Mannheim in 1964. Already in 1965 he had a large exhibition in the Kunsthalle Mannheim .
Graeder's work revolved mainly around the human figure; nudes. His images that tell of intangible, shadowy figures, or pictures that, almost in a naturalistic way, almost artistically depict figures.
