Hans Graeder (born July 15, 1919 in Mannheim , † February 26, 1998 ibid) was a painter , graphic artist and sculptor. Graeder grew up in Mannheim and in 1943 began studying at the Free Academy in Mannheim until 1946, then as a scholarship holder at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Hans Gött .

In 1953, he emigrated to the US , where he combined study visits in various states and Mexico. Graeder became an American citizen in 1958, but returned to Mannheim in 1964. Already in 1965 he had a large exhibition in the Kunsthalle Mannheim .

Graeder's work revolved mainly around the human figure; nudes. His images that tell of intangible, shadowy figures, or pictures that, almost in a naturalistic way, almost artistically depict figures.

Throughout the years, Graeder received public contracts at home and abroad. More on Hans Graeder
