Stephanie Seymour was born on July 23, 1968 in San Diego, California. From her early teens it became obvious that the towering, stunningly beautiful young woman was ideal modeling material, and she immediately began getting some local print work. She moved to New York to work for John Casablancas' at Elite as a model, eventually carrying on a relationship with Casablancas as well, who left his wife to live with the youthful Seymour.

She had great success, including the beginning of a long relationship with Victoria's Secret and work on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues. She posed for a spread in Playboy Magazine in 1991 (it would be the first of several). Sure enough, this served as an accelerant to her career, and soon she had achieved the status of supermodel, appearing as well in several music videos, which further increased her status.

Besides the music videos and a role in a live-action video game, Seymour's acting resume is limited to a very small part in Pollock (2000), which Brant produced, and an episode of the television program Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001). Seymour has four children. More on Stephanie Seymour

Sante D'Orazio (American, b. January 23, 1956) is a Modern photographer who was born in Brooklyn, NY. His interest in art began while studying fine arts at Brooklyn College. He also studied photography with Lou Bernstein (American, 1911–2005), a member of The New York Photo League, and worked under Philip Pearlstein (American, b.1924), an American Contemporary painter, from 1979 to 1980.

D'orazio began his career working for Italian Vogue in 1981, and was eventually noticed by Andy Warhol's Interview magazine. This led to a surplus of work involving renowned fashion magazines and business-related clients. His work revolves around a world of alluring celebrities in various stages of undres.

His pictures have been published in books and put on display in both the United States and Europe. Though D'orazio was raised as a Catholic, his photographs typically showcase nude actresses and supermodels, and their overall tone explores sensuality and fame in present-day society. The Art Of The Nude, with footnotes #1

Lisa Lyon

Lisa Lyon (born 1953) is a female bodybuilder and photo model from the United States, and is regarded as one of female bodybuilding's pioneers.

Born in Los Angeles, California in 1953. Lisa Lyon studied art at the University of California at Los Angeles. There she became accomplished in the Japanese art of fencing, kendo, but found herself lacking sufficient upper body strength so she began weight training. This eventually led her into bodybuilding.

Lyon modeled for Helmut Newton, American fine art photographer Robert Mapplethorpe (resulting in the 1983 book Lady: Lisa Lyon), and Marcus Leatherdale, who published two pictures of her in his first catalogue book at Molotov. Lyon's work with Mapplethorpe was specifically impressive due to Mapplethorpe's ability to portray her body as masculine and feminine in his photos, which shows how her body was truly one of a kind.

She was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2000 for being a one-woman media-relations activist on behalf of the sport and Elevating bodybuilding to the level of fine art.

Lisa Lyon also had a short acting career.

In creating the Marvel Comics character Elektra, Frank Miller initially used Lyon as a basis for the character's appearance. More on Lisa Lyon

Robert Mapplethorpe (November 4, 1946 – March 9, 1989) was an American photographer, known for his sensitive yet blunt treatment of controversial subject-matter in the large-scale, highly stylized black and white medium of photography. His work featured an array of subjects, including celebrity portraits, male and female nudes, self-portraits and still-life images of flowers. His most controversial work is that of the BDSM subculture in the late 1960s and early 1970s of New York City. The homoeroticism of this work fuelled a national debate over the public funding of controversial artwork. More on Robert Mapplethorpe
