Anne-Christine Roda creates portraits that can be qualified as hyperrealistic, thus close to a photographic approach, while revealing with a singular acuity, by the material for example, the profound being of the one who poses.

Her favourite subjects: portraits and nudes and sometimes scenes of life. She is not satisfied by just rendering the appearance of the human skin in a incredible realistic way, with its wrinkles, its furrows and its folds, Anne-Christine Roda is also able to recreate the illusion of material, that she manages to reproduce perfectly, and what comes out of her studio is at least spectacular and fascinating.
